Coming January 4th, 2010: QC Microbiology Hands-On Training
MQA Training Center offers hands-on training in microbiology testing techniques used by all life science companies. Small group of 5-10 people per class. The six week course will cover the following areas:
- Basic good manufacturing practices
- Basic sterilization concepts
- Basic chemistry concepts
- Contamination control concepts
- Basic microbiology
- Environmental monitoring
- Microbial limits
- Validation concepts
- Bioburden testing
- Quality assurance concepts
- Water testing: TOC, LAL, conductivity & bioburden
- Good QC practices
- Bacteria and mold identification
- Microbiology method validation

performed by life science labs in the Bay Area as part of their Quality Control testing and more. This training opens the door to enter into the exciting field of microbiology or to expand your knowledge of the field.
Facilities: State of the art QC Microbiology laboratory located in Berkeley.
Location: 600 Bancroft Way, Suite A2, Berkeley, California.
Teachers: Biotechnology professionals with extensive experience in Microbiology, QA, QC and Validation.
Course duration: 6 weeks starting Jan 4th, 2010.
Class hours: Monday and Wednesday 6-9 PM.
Payment: Payment in full is required prior to start of training. Payment is
accepted with Visa, MC corporate check or money order.
Cancellation policy: Registration fee minus $100 administration fee will be
returned for cancellations 10 days prior to class start.
